Paul Ekman Group upgrades tools with new feature for Spanish training in micro expression detection
Striving to provide more inclusive educational opportunities, the Paul Ekman Group is now offering subtitles for Spanish Micro Expressions Training Tools, as well as closed captioning in English to support ESL and deaf or hard of hearing students.
Our new subtitle and captioning features are currently available in Dr. Ekman’s two foundational micro expressions training tools: the Micro Expressions Training Tool and Subtle Expressions Training Tool. These trainings make up our Face Basics package, and are also included in our more extensive Face Advanced and Ekman Library packages.
While this automatic upgrade can benefit many users for a variety of reasons, its use is not mandatory. Users will be prompted at the beginning of each training session to choose language and captioning options, and will be able to modify these selections throughout the training session.
The Paul Ekman Group is hopeful that this is just the beginning, and that we can continue to make positive strides toward enhancing emotional awareness on a global scale.
